White Hart Inn, Caldmore Green

Caldmore is one of the villages that make up the town of Walsall, and Caldmore Green is one area that makes up the village. The building that was once the White Hart Inn is now converted into flats, and as a private residence, is Caldmore (/ˈkɑːmə/ KAH-mə)[1] is one of the villages that make up the town of Walsall. open to the public. The premises did not start out as an inn, but was originally a private dwelling.

 

According to Coxe, the building was the site of "a macabre discovery and mysterious manifestations", when a mummified arm was discovered in the attic. It is alleged that imprints of the hand appeared and a female apparition has been "seen and heard".

Historically a part of Staffordshire, Walsall is a component area of the West Midlands conurbation, and is located 8 miles north-west of Birmingham and 6 miles east of Wolverhampton.
